The client, a freelancer, needed an efficient way to track his hours per project. He tried several timing apps, but none were convenient enough. Most of his work was done on his laptop, and switching between apps was a hassle. His CRM had a time tracker, but logging in every time to start or stop the timer was cumbersome and disruptive to his workflow.
I developed a custom Chrome extension that integrates with his CRM, loading all his open projects. Now, he can simply click the extension icon in his browser and select the project he’s working on to start the timer. When he’s done, he clicks it again to stop the timer. The icon displays a badge with the elapsed time, making it easy for him to track his hours without interruption.
This custom solution has made time tracking effortless for the client, saving him significant time and reducing frustration. The streamlined process allows him to focus more on his work and less on administrative tasks, improving overall productivity.
