The client, who works extensively on his laptop, struggled with managing his robust task list stored in his CRM. It was cumbersome to constantly switch between his work and the CRM just to check his to-do list. This interruption hindered his productivity and workflow efficiency.
I developed a custom Chrome extension that provides a pop-up window displaying his task list, accessible with a single click. The extension allows him to add new tasks, edit existing ones, and mark them as done, all without leaving his current work. Additionally, the extension icon features a badge that indicates when tasks are due. This to-do list extension is integrated with his custom timer extension, so any new tasks added while the timer is running are automatically mapped to the relevant project.
This custom extension has significantly streamlined the client’s task management, allowing him to stay focused on his work without the need to constantly navigate back to his CRM. The integration with the timer extension further enhances productivity by ensuring tasks are accurately tracked and managed. The client now enjoys a more seamless and efficient workflow, saving time and reducing the stress of task management.
