The client frequently participates in online networking meetings on Zoom, where attendees share their contact information in the chat. After each meeting, the client had to download the chat file and manually sift through it to extract and input this information into his CRM. This process was tedious and time-consuming, often taking up to an hour.
I developed a custom Chrome extension that allows the client to upload the Zoom chat file directly into the extension. The extension automatically extracts all the necessary contact information, grouping messages by person and creating clickable links for emails, phone numbers, and web links. The interface enables the client to select specific information and individuals, and with a single click, all the selected data is seamlessly loaded into the CRM.
This custom extension has transformed a tedious and time-consuming task into a quick and efficient process. What previously took up to an hour now takes just a couple of minutes, significantly boosting the client’s productivity. The streamlined workflow allows the client to focus more on networking and less on administrative tasks, enhancing the overall efficiency of his online networking efforts.
