At first glance, my client’s request seemed straightforward – she needed a phone number field added to her Shopify website’s contact form. However, unlike most website platforms where such a modification is a breeze, Shopify presented a unique challenge. The task required delving into the theme’s code, necessitating modifications in not just one, but two distinct files.
